He's a Wonderful Shot
With help from a well-meaning angel, a man learns what the world would be like without him around in this darkly comic short film directed by Steve Baldwin. Starring Kevin Gladish, Steve Price, and Phil Ridarelli. Special appearance by June Eubanks. Written by Michael Brownlee and Steve Baldwin, based on an original sketch by Michael Brownlee.
"He's a Wonderful Shot" was taped in Chicago in the summer of 2009. Post-production was completed in December 2009.

The Players
Kevin Gladish (Max) is thrilled to have had the chance to work on this great project. Kevin has been working in the Chicago theatre scene for the last ten years as an actor and director with such companies as Griffin, Steep, Stage Left, Timeline, WNEP, the side project, and New Leaf. Having lately gotten into doing film work with Mudgeonsoul Productions in Mass Romantic, and of course now with Toxic Bag, he is excited to do more. Thanks to Joe, Steve, and the crew for bringing him on board!
Steve Price (Will) is an actor/writer/former "Jeopardy!" champion originally from Perkasie, PA. After graduating from The College of Wooster (BA, Theatre, 1985), he relocated to Chicago. He has acted with various companies including Stockyards, Speaking Ring and Theater Building. He is co-author of the musical caper Juan Peron's Hand and is currently writing lyrics for a new musical loosely based on the comedy team of Cheney and Bush.

June Eubanks (Max's ex-wife)
June's acting credits span Shakespeare, musicals, children's theatre, original plays, and "fringe" theatre and they have taken her all over the east coast, mid-west and both coast lines of Florida. June now happily resides in Chicago where she has been blessed to continue working with the most talented burgeoning theater artists in the United States. In the summer of 2009, June portrayed Alice in Emilie Syberg's original piece "Orphanage Picnic" as part of 20% Theatre Company's Snapshots 2009. Prior to that she directed William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure for the Promethean Theatre Ensemble at the City Lit Theatre space. June can currently be seen as Professor Budlong and Mrs. Seeley in Invasion of the Body Snatchers at City Lit Theatre in Chicago, IL.
The Crew
Steve Baldwin (Director) A founding member of Toxic Bag, Steve studied Radio and Television production at Eastern Illinois University. In real life he has directed and edited The Curse of the Bag Witch and The Loan's The Thing, as well as short commercials for Toxic Bag and various small businesses. An accomplished Foley artist, his sound work for film includes Slunge Productions' Dead to Rights. He was instrumental in creating Toxic Bag's critically acclaimed Game Masters Collection sound effects CDs. Steve has done sound design work for Chicago theater companies including Steep, Speaking Ring and Halcyon. Steve is currenly working on treatments and scripts for future Toxic Bag projects.
Dianna Driscoll (Line Producer) is originally from the Boston area, where she attended Salem State College. She previously was Line Producer on Toxic Bag's short film "The Loan's the Thing." Dianna is primarily a Stage Manager / Event Manager and has worked professionally with The Goodman Theatre, WNEP, Trap Door Theatre, Chicago Public Radio and Blue Man Group. Next up: Stage Manager for the world premiere of People We Know at the award-winning Rogers Park theatre company the side project.
Michael Brownlee (Writer)
is a writer and actor living in Los Angeles and getting paid to do neither. Along with his short scripts "He's a Wonderful Shot" and "The Loan's the Thing" being filmed, Michael has also been fortunate enough to have several of his one-act plays, as well as his full-length play "The Past's Present" produced. He is eternally grateful to Joe & Steve at Toxic Bag for all their hard work and support.
Dave Taub (Cinematographer) was born outside of Cooperstown and moved to Chicago almost 20 years ago. With the help of his guide dog, "Ray," Dave still manages to find new images to capture. Dave is self-taught. Dave is married and living in the near west suburbs with two great kids.
Joe Griffin (Exec producer/sound designer/composer) A Chicago native and founding member of Toxic Bag Productions, Joe has been a professional recording engineer for nineteen years. In addition to over fifteen years mixing radio and TV commercials, he has created sound designs and scores for Chicago theater companies including Steep, Speaking Ring, House, WNEP and Halcyon, and for independent film companies including Sigsaly Entertainment, Sidenote Pictures and Blues Wind Entertainment. He also oversees and coordinates production and post-production for Toxic Bag's many projects, occasionally pitching in to help with video editing and visual effects.
