What's New in the Bag
What’s that you say? Toxic Bag hasn’t had anything new for a while? Well, that's going to change. We are happy to report that we have a bunch of new products in the planning stages right now. In the next few weeks we’re going to launch our P500 section on the site.
What is P500, you ask? In a nutshell, it’s a list of potential products, all of which are in the initial planning stages. We offer them to you guys on the P500 list. You have the ability to pre-order them at a discounted price from the eventual retail price. Once a product has gotten 500 pre-orders, we know that you guys want it, so we go ahead and with recording and editing, and several months later, a shiny new toy from Toxic Bag arrives at your doorstep. If a product fails to get 500, then we don’t charge you for the pre-order. You only order the products you want. The P500 "wish List" currently includes such ideas as:
New Battles: We’ve wanted to do a whole new library of World War II sounds for awhile now, divided by combat theater. You and your group are fighting the Eastern front? Barbarossa is the product you want. The Pacific is more to your liking? The Rising Sun is right up your alley. North Africa more your cup of tea? Check out The Desert Fox.
New Game Modules: We love to play games here too. We’re big Call of Cthulhu fans and over the years have created dozens of campaigns of horror. Now we’ve decided to offer a couple up for your approval. The Massacre at Turlow’s End and The Evil of New Lenox are complete ready to play adventures for the Cthulhu RPG system.
New Audio Adventures: Do you love zombies? We sure do! We always wondered when the zombie apocalypse happens, what will the news coverage be like? Now you can hear the end of world zombie style with Toxic Bag’s original recording series The Walking Dead. It all begins with Episode One: Outbreak – a 30-minute ‘radio play’ style program depicting the beginning of the end. Listen to it all going away in the grand tradition of Orson Wells’ War of the Worlds.
More details to follow, so watch this space!
Also opening this weekend (March 22, 2008): Shakespeare's "The Tragedy of Macbeth," presented by Oakton Community College, with sound design and music by Joe Griffin.
