Toxic Bag Productions, Inc.

Toxic Bag Productions, Inc. was founded in 1995 to create sound effect supplements for pencil-and-paper role playing games. Their critically acclaimed Game Masters Collection of sound effects for role playing debuted in 1996. The Battles CD, featuring long-form feature-film quality sound scenes, was released in 2000.

In the 21st century, Toxic Bag has branched out into for-hire sound design, providing sound effects and music for independent films, animated shorts, theatrical productions, dance performances, podcasts and video games. They work out of their studio on the north side of Chicago.

Joe Griffin

Joe has worked as a recording engineer since 1990. In that time, he has created radio and television commercials for several major advertising agencies, including twelve years as head recording engineer for Ogilvy & Mather Chicago, where he recorded and mixed over three thousand radio commercials. His experience also extends to industrial audio and video, music recording, sound design, sound restoration and forensic audio treatment. A musician since age six, Joe also composes music for many of Toxic Bag's theatre, film and sound design projects.

Steve Baldwin

Steve first started working in the audio/visual world in 1995. He is an accomplished producer, video editor and sound recordist. With Toxic Bag his duties include all areas of the production cycle: pre-production planning, logistics, principal production, post production, and marketing/sales. He has edited numerous feature-length films and television commercials and is experienced in music recording, editing and sound design.
